Monosodium glutamate known as ''Chinese Salt'' is widely known in the food industry as a flavor enhancer. Most often used in Chinese cuisine. It is an ingredient in bouillon cubes, instant/powder soups and sauces, chips, fast food, processed foods, etc.
Monosodium glutamate itself is odorless and tasteless. When added to a dish/product, it enhances the taste and aroma. The optimal concentration is 0.2% -0.8% by weight of the product.

The product is not recommended for infants under 24 months of age and pregnant women.
