Amul cheese is made from cow/buffalo milk using microbial rennet. The milk of Indian buffaloes has a very specific taste - it is richer and slightly nuttier.
The cheese is available in blocks, cans and slices. It is a cheese that melts well and can be used in many different recipes , soups, pastas, pizzas, toasts and casseroles. Fruits such as apples , pears and melons go perfectly with Amul cheese . You can grate the cheese and add it to a sauce or soup to make it creamier and thicker .
