Masala Chai – Indian black spiced tea – A unique and very popular Indian tea is the so-called masala chai, i.e. tea with spices. These mixtures most often include cardamom, cloves, ginger, anise, cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg and allspice. Tea with spices (and usually a lot of sugar) is boiled over a fire, and at the very end milk is added to it and heated again until it boils.
