Red Thyme (Zaatar) Durra

Zataar is a spice blend containing ground sumac, roasted sesame and red herbs. Zatar comes from Arab countries and is popular mainly in Morocco, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Lebanon, Israel and Armenia. Zatar is used to season meat and vegetables, or in combination with olive oil, it is used to marinate olives. Smear pita bread or flatbreads (pancakes - tortillas, Spanish bread, piadina) with Zatara. Zatar's flavor can be spicy, herbal, nutty or roasted.

Ingredients: grilled thyme leaves, wheat, sesame, salt, sumac, fennel, anise, coriander, vegetable oil.
